    Viivo Drop Zone
The Viivo Drop Zone is the method to encrypt files for any cloud provider and mark which Viivo users will have keys for decryption. These files will also be able to be emailed. You can even encrypt files for non-Viivo users by including their email address. You can drag-and-drop files to the Viivo Drop Zone, or right click on the files you wish to encrypt and select "Encrypt With Viivo". These files that are created from the Viivo Drop Zone are called Assets. There is a new tab in the Viivo Manager to help manage access to these encryption keys.

On Mac, the Viivo Drop Zone is the Viivo System tray icon.

Re-designed User Interface with advance configuration options
We were sick of looking like an application belonged on your machine from the 1990s, so we took a little time to freshen up our user interface. The new login screen and cloud configuration screens are in the 2.4 release.

Using the new cloud configuration screens, you can now setup Viivo to no longer have automatic encryption/decryption setup. In this method, you will only have decryption on demand by double clicking on a .viivo file. This improves the security and disk use on your machine, but prevents meta data searches on your documents. Remember, if you do not have the automatic encrypt/decrypt setup, files you place in your Viivo folder will NOT automatically get decrypted. You need to manually encrypt these files in the Viivo Drop Zone.

    Setup Guide - New Installs

    I am a new user trying to install in mac osx maverics 10.9.2 and getting Applescript error;
The action “Run AppleScript” encountered an error.
Check the actionʼs properties and try running the workflow again.

I have rebooted, also tried as admin user, but always get the same error.

    Message in console:
3/9/14 10:10:47.964 AM Application Stub[879]: Not loading action at /Library/Automator/Create Table from Data in Workbook.action: No bundleIdentifier.
3/9/14 10:10:47.965 AM Application Stub[879]: Not loading action at /Library/Automator/Save Outlook Messages as Files.action: No bundleIdentifier.

I have Office for mac 2011 and iWork installed.

Would you be willing to connect and share your desktop with the Viivo engineering team to look more in depth on this issue. There have been a few others who have reported this problem with Apple Script error, but we haven't been able to get to the bottom of it as we cannot reproduce it locally. If so, please email support@viivo.com with some of your hours of availability this week and we can setup a time.

    Still get Applescript Error

I still get the applescript error just as for 2.3.33. I am still using the older version but now it has started not renaming files until I start or restart Viivo.

    Billstrong,

Would you be willing to do a web conference call with someone from the Viivo engineering team? We haven't been able to reproduce the problem internally, but we hope seeing it happen live might help us.

If you are willing, please email support@viivo.com with some times you would be available next week.
    Thanks
