    Will do. BUT I fear that they will not be of any use as I have subsequently tried uninstalling, cleaning and then reinstalling. Thanks

    The log files have not been received. Can you confirm they were sent?

    Also, since the re-install, does the problem persist?

    Just to wrap this up. A reinstall did not fix, but the final solution was to cause Viivo to run at boot, thus separating the process of running the programme from opening an encoded file.
    Since then, I have had no problems.
